You're Coming to the Wedding but You're Staying in Tucson, So Check it Out!

The party is only a little more than two weeks away! We are so excited for all of you to come celebrate with us.

For all of you folks who are coming in from out of town and are looking for something to do before the wedding starts Saturday night or before you have to leave town afterward there are all kinds of awesome things to check out in Tucson.

There will be the 4th Ave Street Fair, which is free to the public and has 400+ art booths, food, street performers, face painting, balloons, and tons of other fun activities. It is a great time to really see the spirit of Tucson. Plus it is located right between the wedding ceremony location and the reception location! For all the info check out their website here.

If you're in town Friday night and are not already needed for the wedding rehearsal and want to pick up a little swing dancing (something very near and dear to our hearts) there is a swing dance, with lessons, at Warehouse Stomp! All the info can be found at their website here.

If you're interested in checking out Eric's old hang out and the place where he fell in love with stunt work check out a true Wild West Stunt Show at Trail Dust Town! There are even still some photos up of the handsome groom on their website here.

And of course at some point during your time in Tucson check out the local food. My favorite is of course Eegee's, a must-stop for any displaced Tucsonan and a strong recommendation for everyone else. And for those late night hungries Nico's Taco Shop is delicious Mexican food open 24 hours a day.

There are of course plenty of other things to check out in this amazing city but no matter how much fun you are having don't forget, the wedding starts at 5pm Saturday night.

Getting Close

Can you believe its February?! Neither can we. Things are really starting to come together for this crazy shindig and we are getting so excited to share this all with you. Invitations are on their way so make sure you send those response cards back so we know who is coming and are ready for you and the party. It seems that all the little details are coming together but there is still a lot of work to do. Please feel free to explore the blog and if you have any questions we haven't addressed please feel free to ask. You are most likely not the only person with that same question. We can't wait to hear from you and hope you can all make it to Tucson to celebrate with us!

Engagment Photoshoot

In case you haven't noticed (or your page hasn't fully loaded yet) you can see that some new elements and photos have been added to the blog. Our awesome and incredibly talented friend and bridesmaid, Kadie Pangburn, was able to come over and visit us in Corona and in between work, homework, and a trip to Disneyland, she was able to take some engagement photos for us. We think she did a fantastic job and we're excited to share them with you. We had a lot of fun walking in the Corona wilderness, climbing in trees, and playing balancing acts to get these shots. Kadie has awesome vision and we were so excited she agreed to take these photos for us. Thank you again, Kadie! ♥

Location location location

Well after many phone calls, emails, voice messages, and even some cookies and a card, we have a location set for our wedding ceremony. As soon as the idea of getting married here came up nothing else we looked at was good enough. Some of you might recognize it, Old Main at the University of Arizona. The UofA has been such a big part of our lives, the location is beautiful, and it is where Eric proposed, and now it is going to be the location of our wedding.

This blog is for you too!

While we're still very very much in the planning stages this is the place where you can find updates or just random things we have to say about our wedding and lives in California. Feel free to leave comments and let us know if there is any information we don't have up that you'd like to see. If we have an answer or response we'll gladly post it.

And for those wanting to see a picture of the ring it is now up under the "How We Met" page.
